Prategiano has many of the characteristics of an agriturismo, yet it was built in a period during which there was no word for the now very common term, "agriturismo". The agritourism is situated in a peaceful and panoramic location one kilometer form the small Medieval village of Montieri. Here in the middle of nature, you will enjoy fantastic views of the hills and valleys of Maremma Tuscany. On clear days, the towers of San Gimignano are visible even at 50 km away.

Hospitality is a fundamental characteristic at this quaint agriturismo. Our guests are frequently inspired by the same interests and make friends easily. Here, the Paradisi family will look after you along with a team of international hotel employees. The hotel has twenty-four rooms, a small meeting room, a bar, a restaurant and a large living room area. Outside, you will find the garden, which provides the perfect place for a drink while watching the sunset.  Beneath the hotel terrace is the swimming pool and heated mini-pool, as well as covered and uncovered car parks. The horse stables are about 300m from the hotel.

On hot days you can freshen up in the swimming pool or relax and sunbathe on the panoramic terrace at the poolside. During the fresher months of the year you can also relax in the heated jacuzzi.Our Tuscan style food is based on genuine and simple dishes that can be paired with some of the most famous wines of the region such as the Monteregio di Massa Marittima or the Morellino di Scansano. Dinner is a three course meal.  Each night, you may choose from two dishes for each course, one of which is always vegetarian.  Or you may choose "a la carte" dishes.

If you book half board, you have the choice of dining in our restaurant or participating in one of the hotel picnic trips.  These full course lunches are held in a scenic outdoor location. Our picnics are one of the activities enjoyed by cyclists, horseback riders and anyone who enjoys eating together in the open air -all in beautiful, green Maremma Tuscany. For more than 40 years our place has been known for fantastic horse holidays in Italy and great mountain biking and cycling.
